Welcome to Stamford United Reformed Church
We stand firmly in the non-conformist tradition and acknowledge the dissenters of the past. We are proud of our heritage of all member ministry and delight in the call to be Reformed and reforming. The modern United Reformed Church is at the forefront of ecumenism and looks to work together with other Christian denominations for the good of the community.
Our building stands testament to our sense of calling to Stamford rebuilt in 1819 after a previous building was destroyed by fire at the hands of a mob that was intent on forcing the Dissenter out of the town.
No such drama will beset visitors these days and a ready welcome is offered to all.
Our Sunday morning service time is 10:30. Communion will be shared once each month. Please check service information below.
